What We Offer

Skin Cancer

Dr. Kiesnowski is very experienced in the removal and treatment of all types of skin cancer including melanoma. The goal always is to remove the cancer without disfiguring the patient. Most skin cancers can be removed in our in-office surgical suite under a local anesthetic, however, if more aggressive treatment is needed those surgeries can be performed at the hospital or surgery center.

Dr. Kiesnowski can often work in conjunction with your Mohs surgeon to repair defects caused by cancer removal. Please contact our office if you have a Mohs surgical procedure scheduled and would like a consultation prior to your procedure. We make every effort to coordinate your reconstruction with the Mohs surgeon so that both can be performed on the same day.

Botox® Therapy

Facial Botulinum Toxin Therapy (Botox® and Xeomin®)

Botox® cosmetic injections are performed in our office by Dr. Kiesnowski and Tammy Marshall, APNP, FNP-BC. When you come to our office for a cosmetic procedure, you are paying for the expertise and experience of board certified providers and that is exactly what you will get.

Cost for the procedure will vary with the amount of botulinum toxin needed for completion of therapy but rarely exceeds $300 per treatment. Botox® Cosmetic is $13.50 per unit and Xeomin® is $8.50 per unit. If you are new to our practice inquire about new patient incentives.

Botox® Therapy for Hyperhydrosis
Botox® therapy used on the body is for the control of hyperhidrosis otherwise known as excessive sweating. Botox® Therapy is often a last resort in the treatment of this condition after other topical and oral therapies have failed. Documentation of conservative therapies are a prerequisite for the use of Botox® Therapy and we have been very successful in treating patients with Botox® for hyperhidrosis of the armpits, hands, and feet. This is a non-surgical alternative for those who have failed conservative treatment. This treatment must be approved by your insurance carrier prior to administration of this therapy.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are performed in the office surgical suite by Dr. Kiesnowski. Several different types of chemical peel are offered by our office. Superficial peels will improve skin condition and improve smoothness of the skin. Mild redness may last for several days. Medium depth peels will also affect the structure of the skin decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Medium depth peels also have a significant effect on abnormal facial pigmentation. Redness and peeling can last for five to ten days. Deep chemical peels produce dramatic changes but require a general anesthetic.

Birthmark Removal

Dr. Kiesnowski offers several solutions to those seeking removal of birthmarks from their bodies. Birthmarks can be either portwine or in the coffee-and-cream category.

In addition, Doctor is experienced with removing moles, sunspots and tatoos.

It is always Dr. Kiesnowski’s goal to remove or minimize the mark with as little disturbance as possible to lessen the chances of scarring or trading one blemish for another.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve taken abuse for my birthmark since childhood – is it too late for removal?

It is never too late for birthmark removal. In fact, some birthmarks have malignant potential for becoming cancerous and should certainly be addressed.

How many treatments will I need to remove my portwine birthmark? What is the cost per session?

Portwine birthmarks typically require 4-5 laser treatments for the appearance to stabilize. Please call our office, toll free at 800.801.3101, for the current fee schedule.

Can my moles become cancerous? I have several, should I have them removed as a preventative measure?

There are a number of situations where moles can be of concern. Any change in the mole’s size, shape or color or if the mole has an irregular border is reason for evaluation for removal.
